2025 (January to December): GM was the largest car, SUV, and light truck producer in the USA, with sales increasing by 5.5% to 2,853,299 vehicles. All four GM brands grew in 2025. GMC set a new sales record for the second consecutive year. Cadillac sales were the best in a decade. Chevrolet’s lineup of SUVs had their best sales ever. And Buick was one of the industry’s fastest-growing mainstream brands.
