2024 (January to December): General Motors (GM) reported USA car sales increases of 4% to 2.7 million vehicles – the highest sales total for GM since 2019. GM estimates its 2024 market share at 16.5%. GM finished the year with an inventory of about 54 days or 596,775 vehicles. All GM brands – Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac – increased USA sales in 2024. The best-selling GM models in the USA in 2024 were the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
