All Volkswagen models, with the exception of the all-electric ID4 and ID Buzz, sold in lower numbers in the USA in 2025. The electric cars made strong percentage gains, but volumes remained dismally low. Sales of the ID Buzz were especially disappointing — VW suspended sales with the German manufacturer belatedly realizing the Buzz is simply too expensive for what is on offer. Buzz sales were disappointing in other markets too.
