Ferrari sales in China have halved since 2023 and were only just ahead of the UK and Switzerland.
Ferrari sold 13,640, 13,752, and 13,663 cars in 2025, 2024, and 2023, respectively, compared to 7,255 cars in 2014, the year before its initial public offering. Sales are expected to increase gradually in line with its controlled volume strategy.
It is a stated aim of Ferrari to “pursue a controlled volume car production strategy in order to maintain a reputation for exclusivity and scarcity among purchasers of our cars and we carefully manage our production volumes and delivery waiting lists to promote this reputation.”

The USA remained by far the most important country for Ferrari in 2025, with net earnings in the US accounting for 28% of Ferrari’s total worldwide net revenue. Although Germany accounted for 11% of sales volume, it contributed only 8% to earnings. Ferrari sold fewer cars in the UK than in Germany, Italy, or France, but the British clearly bought more expensive models.
Ferrari also seeks to increase the average price point of all cars sold and seems to have success with that in 2025. Despite weaker sales, Ferrari increased revenue in 2025. Similarly, operating profit (EBIT) increased from €1,887,751,000 in 2024 to €2,109,716,000 in 2025. Net profit increased to €1,599,516,000 from €1,525,913,000.
Ferrari claims to have had a 24% of the global Luxury Performance Car Industry sales in 2025. For Ferrari, this sector includes all two-door luxury sports cars with power above 500 hp, and retail price above Euro 200,000 (Italian market price including VAT as reference) sold by Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce.

Ferrari Global Sales by Model and Sector in 2025
Ferrari does not release sales data by model, but confirmed that the highest earnings and profitability margins come from the most exclusive cars. The Icona (e.g., SP3) was 1% of all sales, while no Supercars (F80) were available in 2025. Special Series (SF90 XX and 296 Speciale) formed 7% of sales, while 92% of all Ferrari worldwide sales were from the standard range.
In 2025, approximately 84% of new Ferrari cars were sold to clients who already owned at least one Ferrari, and approximately 56% to clients who owned multiple Ferraris. Purchases of Special Series, Supercars, and Icona cars are only possible by special invitation.
