The XC60 was the top-selling Volvo in the USA followed by the XC90. As with other manufacturers, traditional passenger cars generally struggled to find buyers in the USA in 2018.

“2018 proved to be our best year in a decade,” said Anders Gustafsson, President and CEO, Volvo Car USA. “This year brought Volvo Cars and our retailer partners many successes, but perhaps none more monumental than the opening of our first US factory in South Carolina, the production home of our all-new S60 sedan.”
