In full-year 2022, Mitsubishi Motors North America sold 16% fewer cars in the USA as lack of supply meant many sales could not be completed.

2022 (January to December): sales of Mitsubishi Motors North America contracted by 16% to only 85,810 cars in the USA. Sales volume continued to be limited by industry-wide supply constraints.

As it has been since its spring 2022 launch, the Outlander remained Mitsubishi’s top seller and record breaker with 40,942 units sold through the full year making it the best single year in the nameplate’s history.
