In full-year 2022, Mazda car sales in the USA were 11.4% lower with the CX-5 by far the most popular model.
2022 (January to December): Mazda North American Operation reported full-year sales totaled 294,908 vehicles in the USA — a decrease of 11.4 percent compared to 2021. Sales of passenger cars were nearly halved while sales of trucks (and SUVs) were only 2.9% lower. The Mazda CX-5 was the brand’s most popular model in the USA.
Mazda Canada, Inc., (MCI) reported full-year sales decreased by 19.8 percent with 49,874 vehicles sold.
Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) reported full-year 2022 sales increased by 2.9 percent with 48,274 vehicles sold.
