In full-year 2024, Porsche global car sales were slightly lower with the Cayenne and Macan the top-selling models worldwide.

2024 (January to December): Porsche worldwide sales contracted by 3% largely due to a 28% decline in sales in China. Porsche sales increased in most other major markets with record sales in the USA, the most important country market for Porsche. The Cayenne was the best-selling Porsche model in the world in 2024 followed by the Macan and the iconic 911.
Porsche Worldwide Sales by Model in 2024
Porsche global sales by car model or nameplate in 2024 were as follows:
Porsche Model | Sales in 2024 | % Change |
ALL | 310,718 | -3 |
Cayenne | 102,889 | 18 |
Macan | 82,795 | -5 |
– Macan Electric | 18,278 | New |
911 | 50,941 | 2 |
Panamera | 29,587 | -13 |
718 | 23,670 | 15 |
Taycan | 20,836 | -49 |
The Cayenne was the bestseller among Porsche’s six model lines in 2024. 102,889 units were handed to customers β an increase of 18 percent compared to the previous year.
In 2024, Porsche delivered 18,278 of the new all-electric Macan models. In most countries outside the EU, Porsche continued to offer the previous Macan as a combustion-engined option in parallel, of which 64,517 examples were delivered. In total, Porsche delivered 82,795 Macan in 2024.
The iconic Porsche 911 sports car continued to enjoy great popularity in 2024 and, with 50,941 examples delivered, recorded an increase of two percent compared to 2023. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models recorded 23,670 deliveries.
The Panamera accounted for 29,587 deliveries. This decline of 13 percent for this model line can be mainly explained by the lower demand for this model line in the Chinese market.
In total, 20,836 examples of the Taycan were delivered to customers last year. This corresponds to a decline of 49 percent. Here, too, there was a model change, and the ramp-up of electric mobility is generally proceeding more slowly than planned.
Porsche Sales by Global Market and Major Country in 2024

Germany | 32,430 | 35,858 | 11 |
North America | 86,059 | 86,541 | 1 |

With 86,541 deliveries, North America is once again the largest sales region, recording an increase of one percent compared to the previous year. The USA was again the largest single-country market for Porsche and set a new sales record of 76,167 cars.
In China, 56,887 cars were handed over to customers (-28 percent). The decline is mainly due to the continuing challenging economic situation in this region. Despite this, Porsche is sticking to its value-based sales approach. The aim is to balance demand and sales.
The Overseas and Emerging Markets again developed positively with growth of six percent. A total of 55,533 cars were handed over to customers in this region.
