2023 (Full Year) Global: Kia Car Sales Worldwide and 2024 Forecast

2023 (January to December): Kia Corporation of South Korea increased global car sales by 6.3% in 2023 to 3,085,771 vehicles. The result set a new record for Kia car sales worldwide — Kia’s previous best sales year was 2014 when 3,038,552 vehicles were sold globally including 465,200 vehicles in Korea and 2,573,352 in foreign markets. The top-selling Kia model worldwide was the Sportage SUV with 523,502 global sales followed by the Seltos SUV (344,013 vehicles) and the Sorento SUV (242,892 vehicles).

In 2024, Kia is targeting global sales of 3.2 million vehicles. Kia expects to sell 530,000 cars in Korea (slightly fewer cars than in 2023) and 2,663,000 vehicles overseas.
