In full-year 2023, Mazda increased sales in the USA by 23% with the CX-5 by far the most popular SUV model and the Mazda 3 the top-selling car.
2023 (January to December): Mazda announced full-year sales of 363,354 vehicles in the USA — an increase of 23.2% over the 2022 total. Trucks and SUV sales increased by 24% to 260,635 vehicles while sedan car sales increased by a more modest 15% to 34273 cars. The CX-5 was by far the most popular Mazda model in the USA. In Canada, Mazda sold 58,637 vehicles (+17.6%) and in Mexico 76,017 vehicles (+57%).
